  The second collaboration between producer Retrospec and MC Bub Styles gets a limited edition "Black and Gold" cassette tape release via High Water Music. The entire album was written and recorded in one day, Friday May 5th 2023 at Merrill Street Studio in Jamaica Queens to be exact. An in-person collaboration of some of the best and most prolific wordsmiths and personalities New York has to offer at the moment.
  
  It would be easy to forget whose show this is considering how many friends they brought along if it wasn't so clear by Retro and Bub's undeniable chemistry. Serving as musical director Retrospec put together the kinda tracks young Mike Tyson would've heard in his head while fighting Lorenzo Canady. Bub Styles on the other hand came through with the bars Iron Mike would've written if he chose Hip Hop instead of the ring. All of this magic is capped off by Gee's unique feel to music video filming with videos for "Casket Case" and "Devil's In The Details". Put it all together and you got yourself a must have for your collection, sorta like a time capsule for the Summer of 2023.
